Would a 15 inch square medallion fit inside of this frame?

No it wont. The 16" x 20" dimension is the overall width/height of the panel. The width of the trim is 1-5/8" wide, so the inside clearance would be too small.

Is this picture frame molding already assembled and ready to be glued to the wall?

Yes, these will arrive as shown so you will not have to cut or glue anything together.

Can this be placed over slate on fireplace surround?

Absolutely! Under normal circumstances these would install perfectly fine as a fireplace surround. Please give us a call to discuss your application.

Does this come in 16x16? or 18x18?

Does the 16X20 scalloped wall panel come in a thinner projection?

This particular item does not come in a thinner projection, however we do have panel moldings available with thinner projections that can be cut and assembled into panels on site
