How much weight can these support? Was thinking of making a awning over a window. What is the spacing you recommend?

The rustic outlookers have not been tested to determine a specific weight bearing capacity. That being said, the biggest factor is usually not the outlooker itself, but, how it is installed. If load-bearing capacity is a concern, we recommend consulting with a design engineer onsite.

When referring to the width, is that for the corbels or the mounting plate. It appears based off images that the mounting bracket is wider than the corbels

That measurement is taken at the widest point of the item so in this case that would be that back piece

Yes, this product can be both stained or painted.

What is the actual brace width for the 6"?

For the 6" - Rough Sawn option, the backboard is 6" in width and the brace is 4" in width.

Are they weight bearing and how do you install them without seeing the screw?

These are made from solid wood and would be inherently load bearing, but they are not specifically designed for structural applications. When it comes to filling in screw holes, you would need to utilize wood fillers as there isn't a caps to cover the holes.
