Can this crosshead be installed directly over vinyl siding?

Yes, you can either cut away the siding or you can install these crossheads over the siding.

Do the crossheads come in different colors?

The crosshead only comes factory primed. The crosshead needs to be painted on site as the primer itself will not hold up to UV exposure (it will crack/peel over time).

Can this be used as a cornice over an interior window?

Sure! You can install these crossheads on either interior or exterior applications.

is the keystone loose? Can I buy additional keystones?

If you order it on the crosshead it will be fixed. You can order the separately if needed. Please give us a call to discuss the specifics of your project and we can assist you with putting together an order.

How would you install this on brick?

These install similarly to wood products, so they can be installed on brick using screws and adhesive.

Are these finished on the sides once cut to size so they can be mounted on the wall without more carpentry?

Yes, once you select a size and place your order, your crosshead would arrive ready for installation without requiring additional carpentry.

Are the crossheads for exterior use only? I do not see one picture with interior application.

The crossheads are more commonly used in exterior projects, however, more and more customers have been using them inside the home as well. They would install the exact same way in either application.
