Ekena Millwork's wainscot kit range includes traditional panel styles suited to period and transitional architecture as well as decorative profiles including scalloped designs for more distinctive interior applications. Each kit is sized and configured to work as a repeating system across a wall run, with panel dimensions and component SKUs documented for specification and submittal purposes.

As an example, the Ashford Scalloped Panel kit includes five 16-inch wide by 20-inch high scalloped wainscot panels, one Claremont chair rail at 4-1/4-inch height by 1-5/8-inch projection, and one Aberdeen baseboard at 5-1/2-inch height by 5/8-inch projection, all in 94-1/2-inch lengths. Installation Requirements for Wainscot Kits

Wainscot panel installation requires construction adhesive, elastomeric adhesive caulk, finishing nails, a miter saw, putty knife, and chalk line. Panels and moulding components should be painted or finished before installation, with touchup applied after. All components should be allowed to acclimate in the installation space for 48 hours prior to installation. Installation surfaces must be clean and dry before adhesive is applied. A level line should be established across the wall before panels are set to ensure consistent alignment across the run.
